On October 24-26, the 19th International Fastener Exhibition FastTec 2023 took place in Crocus Expo IEC.
The exhibition was held for the first time after a long break due to pandemic restrictions and showed a significant increase in interest in the fastener market. The target audience grew by 54% compared to 2019.
The exhibition was visited by 1 349 professionals, of which 657 visitors came with FastTec tickets and 692 visitors came with tickets from other industrial equipment exhibitions held simultaneously with FastTec (Testing&Control, NDT Russia, ExpoCoating Russia, GasSuf, PCVExpo).
The target audience of the exhibition consisted of supply and purchasing managers of industrial enterprises and construction, wholesale buyers of fasteners; representatives of companies specializing in installation works, private entrepreneurs.
Indicators of FastTec 2023 visitor audience:
• the share of regional visitors amounted to 42%;
• the share of specialists influencing purchasing decisions amounted to 97%;
• 74% of visitors were managers and deputy managers of companies, heads of departments.
Exhibition exposition
At FastTec 2023 the equipment was presented in 8 main thematic sections: "Household fasteners", "Fasteners for plumbing and heating", "Fasteners for wiring and electrical installation", "Machine-building, automotive fasteners", "Furniture fasteners, accessories", "Plastic fasteners", "Consumables", "Construction fasteners".
The number of foreign exhibitors amounted to 95%, which confirmed the international status of FastTec.
This year at FastTec there was a rather extensive Chinese exposition - more than 40 exhibiting companies.
The Russian company Strike presented a unique new generation power clamp with increased clamping force. Alexander Mosalov, General Director of the company, shared his impressions about the exhibition: "This is the first time we participate in this exhibition. The audience is excellent - there are customers, manufacturers and managers from various spheres of industry. Those of them who were looking for something for themselves, for example, pumping equipment or boiler equipment, get acquainted with our products and know-how. I would like to mention a very convenient mobile application: you can walk up, scan the Quar Code, get information - and you don't need to carry a lot of waste paper with you".
Anton Igorevich Taktarov, Deputy Head of Sales Department of another domestic company "BeregI", noted the quality of the exhibition audience: "For our rather young production company FastTec is the first exhibition in which we take part with our stand. It is very interesting for us - new experience, new positioning of our company. At the exhibition there is an opportunity to get feedback - we understand what needs to be improved. Most of our clients are trading companies, but here we are interested in reaching out to end buyers. It's a huge plus - we have clients here. We are definitely satisfied with the quality of the audience. We are satisfied with the fact that we are here, satisfied with the number of contacts we have received, with the feedback and with the organization itself."
List of participants
The round table "Russia - China. Challenges and New Models of Cooperation" became a notable event of the exhibition business program. The event discussed existing and prospective models of cooperation between the two countries.
Six other international industrial exhibitions were held in the same pavilion with FastTec:
• Heat&Power - industrial boiler, heat exchange and power generation equipment;
• Testing&Control - testing and measuring equipment;
• NDT Russia - equipment for non-destructive testing;
• PCVExpo - industrial pumps, compressors and pipeline valves, drives and motors;
• ExpoCoating - materials and equipment for surface treatment, coating and electroplating industries;
• GasSuf - gas fueling, gas filling equipment and machinery on gas motor fuel.
Joint holding of industrial industry events creates the most effective conditions for interaction between representatives of companies from different sectors of the economy. Thus, the synergy provides additional value for both exhibitors and visitors.
The next FastTec exhibition will be held on October 22-24, 2024 at Crocus Expo.
