The state budgetary educational institution of higher education of the Moscow region "Technological University" celebrated its 20th anniversary. In 2018, the University of Technology was one of the 100 best universities in Russia (according to the RAEKS-Analytics rating agency).
In April 2015, the University of Technology, the administration of the city of O. Korolev and leading enterprises of the rocket and space industry of the Russian Federation operating in the Korolev science city, a number of cities in the Moscow region and the city of Moscow, signed an agreement on the creation of the Northeast Regional Research and Educational Cluster consortium to meet the needs of knowledge-intensive high-tech enterprises with qualified personnel.
The University of Technology is the first regional university with which a cooperation agreement was signed by the Federal Agency "Rossotrudnichestvo".
In 2016, at the request of the Advanced Research Foundation at the university, together with AO Composite, an Engineering Center for High-Temperature Composite Materials was created. He became one of the significant scientific results of the university. For the first time in Russia, fasteners made of polyetheretherketone were received in the center.
