The Institute of Macromolecular Compounds of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ICS RAS) will open a new center of chemistry of materials for shipbuilding. This was told by the director of the IVS RAS Sergei Lyulin. “In May of this year we plan to open the Center for Chemistry of New Materials for Shipbuilding. Its creation is connected with the memorandum of cooperation signed between our institute and the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) signed in 2016. According to this memorandum, USC delegates the Institute of Institutional Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences to coordinate work in the field of polymer, hybrid and composite materials for their projects, ”said Lyulin.
