Rosstandart issued orders on the approval of national standards:

New standards for anchors will be effective from September 1

GOST R 58429-2019 “Reinforcement releases glued into concrete. Test Methods;

  • GOST R 58430-2019 "Mechanical and adhesive anchors for fastening in concrete in seismic areas."
  •

The standards were introduced by the Technical Committee for Standardization TC 144 "Building Materials and Products". Both national standards are developed by the Union of manufacturers and suppliers of fastening systems. They come into force on September 1, 2019. GOST R 58430-2019 was developed in conjunction with the Research Moscow State University of Civil Engineering - FSBEI HE NIU MGSU.

GOST R 58429-2019 “Reinforcement releases glued into concrete. Test Methods ”establishes the requirements for test methods and assess the adhesion resistance of reinforcing outlets installed on adhesive mortar in concrete, when building, and also when strengthening building structures. The standard applies to test methods for reinforcing outlets installed in heavy concrete structures with a bulk density of 2200 to 2500 kg / m3 of class compressive strength from B15 to B60. The document does not apply to the installation of reinforcement outlets in structures experiencing dynamic and seismic loads and impacts. It also does not apply to testing rebar releases on adhesive mortar, the components of which are dosed manually at a construction site.

GOST R 58430-2019 “Mechanical and adhesive anchors for fastening in concrete in seismic areas” establishes methods for testing mechanical anchors, adhesive anchors subject to seismic loads installed in a finished construction foundation of heavy concrete. The standard defines the requirements for test methods and contains requirements for evaluating their bearing capacity. The standard does not apply to mechanical and adhesive anchors used at NPP facilities, and also does not apply to mechanical and adhesive anchors subject to fatigue and / or shock (pulse) loads. The application of this standard is possible if there are test results according to GOST R 56731 for mechanical anchors.
