05 December 2019 News On November 28, the regular meeting of the “Union of Manufacturers and Suppliers of Fixing Systems” (Fixing Union) was held. The meeting was attended by representatives of participants of the Fastener Union from the companies LLC Fisher Fastening Systems Rus, JSC Hilt Distribution Ltd, LLC Trading House KM, Rokofast, Biysk Fiberglass Plant, LLC Sormat and invited experts. After solving organizational issues, the participants moved on to a number of issues related to standardization and certification. Among them were: Update STO 36554501-052-17 "Anchor fastenings to concrete. Rules for the establishment of standardized parameters ”regarding the test program for anchors with valid ETA (European Technical Approval) certificates issued by the European Organization for Technical Assessment (EOTA): - Work plan of the Fastener Union for interaction with the FAA FTSS in the field of unification of loads appearing in the technical descriptions for fasteners; - Development of GOST for specifications for plate anchors for curtain wall systems; - Dish Anchor Certification. The standardization plan for 2020 will include GOST R "Belle-shaped anchors for fastening the heat-insulating layer of curtain wall systems. Technical conditions". The meeting also discussed the results of a study of the corrosion resistance of anchor coatings. This study was conducted by the participants of the Fastener Union together with the National Research Technological University “MISiS” since 2017 to determine the safe estimated service life of anchors with various coatings on the Russian market in different atmospheric conditions and placement categories.
